Who Is Angie?
I'm a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and lifelong explorer of what it means to be human. And, like you, I'm also a caregiver at heart. Before this work, I was a preschool teacher and a medical speech-language pathologist. Caring for others has always been my language.
But after my son was born, I unraveled. Binge eating. Chronic IBS. Anxiety, exhaustion, fear, rage, shame. All while I kept showing up for everyone who needed me. One day I looked at a photo of myself holding my son, and I didn't recognize the woman in it. I knew my child. I didn't know myself.
Up until then, my question had always been, "What's wrong with me?" For the first time, my question became, "What's happening here?" That single shift changed everything. It led me to the work of Dr. Amy Johnson and her Change Coach Certification training in 2024. It also led me to notice what I now call "soul tugs": quiet, persistent pulls toward something I can't fully explain, but know I need to follow. They eventually led me to Shamanic Reiki, where I'm now apprenticing as a Master Teacher.
Today, I support others in exploring their inner worlds with the same curiosity and presence that changed everything for me. If you've spent your life being the strong one, the steady one, the one everyone else leans on, I know that particular kind of tired. And I'm not guiding you from above it. I'm guiding you from inside it. I don't have it all figured out; I've just found a little more room to breathe than I used to have. I'm still discovering my own way through, right alongside you.
What Happens Here
When we work together, you can bring whatever's actually here. Confusing, heavy, unfinished, or hard to say out loud, all of it is welcome. We'll meet it with curiosity instead of judgment. Slowly, you may feel safe enough to stop bracing. From there, you may get curious enough to notice your own patterns without needing to fight them. Then something like freedom may come: fear or uncertainty can still show up, but it stops running the whole show. You get to invite your demons to tea instead of bracing against them or trying to push them away. And, often unexpectedly, you just might discover how to truly receive: support, rest, care, good things, without believing you have to earn them first.
This isn't about giving less to the people who count on you. It's about finally counting yourself among them. And this isn't a place to stay forever. It's a nest: somewhere safe enough to land and gather yourself, so you can fly again, steadier than before.
